Oasis have announced that they are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their 1994 debut album. It definitely can bewith an expansive reissue arriving on August 30.
Along with the remastered version of the 2014 album, Definitely Maybe (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) features tracks unearthed from the original recording session at Monnow Valley Studios and outtakes recorded at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall, all newly mixed by Noel Gallagher and Callum Marinho.

The reissue also includes new illustrations by original art designer Brian Cannon for Microdot and original cover photographer Michael Spencer Jones, as well as new liner notes written by Creation Records boss Alan McGee and journalist Hamish MacBain.
The 30th Anniversary Expanded Edition will be available in limited edition deluxe 4xLP, deluxe 2xCD, limited edition blue cassette and digital formats. There are also vinyl variants of various colors. Pre-orders are in progress.
Oasis were among the finalists for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2024, but will have to wait at least one more year for their inevitable induction. Frontman Liam Gallagher didn't seem to care either way, saying the Rock and Roll Hall is “full of fools” shortly after his nomination was announced.
Regardless, Liam Gallagher is heading out on his “Definitely Maybe 30 Years Tour” solo tour this summer after his brother and bandmate Noel Gallagher (who once called it the “last great punk album”) apparently “turned down” the opportunity to meet.
