ODESZA's “The Last Goodbye” finally became a real prophecy.
The release of ODESZA's fourth LP, The last good-byeended a five-year wait between albums and spawned a jaw-dropping tour, which many now consider the most groundbreaking of their career. The duo will now return to Washington for the tour’s swansong at the picturesque Gorge Amphitheatre, where they will perform three shows in their hometown July 4-6.
And in a world where distance is no longer a barrier, ODESZA is inviting its fans into the experience by partnering with Veeps for a momentous streaming event.
Broadcast live from the Gorge on Saturday, July 6, the broadcast includes a pre-show with “exclusive behind-the-scenes content and special footage” giving fans a look at the concert unfolding. Fans who purchase access to the stream will be able to purchase vinyl and tour merchandise.
ODESZA's final performance at the Gorge will be captured with “high-end film cameras” and will feature more than 20 performers, as well as “intricate stage designs and stunning special effects,” according to a press release. The show will be directed by Kerry Asmussen, director of Lady Gaga's special concert, Gaga Chromatic Ballwhich recently premiered on Max.
Meanwhile, fans on the ground will be able to experience “ECHOES,” a one-of-a-kind art installation. Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon technology, the intricate project will debut at the ODESZA concert on July 4.
Tickets to the live stream are available for $19.99. Fans will have a 48-hour period to rewatch the event after purchase.
