As part of her “GUTS World Tour,” Olivia Rodrigo is staging her very own mini revival of Lilith Fair. After welcoming Sheryl Crow for an on-stage collaboration in Nashville last month, Rodrigo invited another legendary female songwriter, Jewel, to join her at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.
“She is such an incredible songwriter. When I first started writing my songs, I would listen to her album Pieces of You before I went to bed,” Rodrigo said as she introduced Jewel to the stage. “She’s incredible and it’s such an honor that she’s here with me tonight.”

The two proceeded to duet on Jewel’s 1995 hit, “You Were Meant for Me.”
Rodrigo just wrapped up the first North American leg of her “GUTS World Tour.” She’ll be touring the UK and Europe over the next couple of months, before kicking off a second run of North American shows beginning in late July. Get tickets to her upcoming tour dates here.
