Olivia Rodrigo is a damn professional. We've known this since he burst onto the scene with rock-infused pop songs, but he continues to prove it time and time again. Her latest highly professional move came during her performance in Australia on Sunday (October 13), when the star accidentally fell through a trapdoor on stage, only to get up unfazed and continue rolling.
“Oh my gosh, that was fun. “I'm fine!” Rodrigo announced after occupying a large space on stage while performing at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne. “Sometimes there's just a hole in the stage. Alright! “Well, where was I?” he said, continuing as if he had not just suffered the fall. Watch a video of the moment below.
After the concert, Rodrigo poked fun at herself by posting a clip of the fall on her TikTok page soundtracked by Apex Twin's “QKThr.” “I'm fine lol ❤️,” he wrote in the comments, assuring fans that he didn't suffer any injuries.
The Melbourne stop was the last of Rodrigo's current “GUTS world tour.” The Australian leg marks the last set of dates for the tour (get last-minute tickets here), although Rodrigo will also headline Lollapalooza South America in 2025.
Rodrigo fell VISCERAthe follow-up to his successful debut album SOURin 2023. Check back for our review of the album, as well as our review of the start of their 2024 tour at Madison Square Garden.
Recently, Rodrigo invited fellow pop dominator Chappell Roan on stage to perform “Hot to Go!”
