There's not much you can do after getting a bad tattoo, but in the case of a fan, Olivia Rodrigo may have a solution.
The 21-year-old pop star hilariously reacted to a recent video posted by a Livie who had just written one of her lyrics on her skin, missing the correct spelling of a keyword. The controversial phrase? “I address the letters to the holes in my butterfly's wings” by Rodrigo's Get angry track “Hope Ur Ok”, whose fan named Grace mistakenly picked up the following refrain: “Address the letters to the holes in my butter behind the scenes.”
Showing off the tattoo on TikTok, Grace wrote: “This is your sign to ALWAYS spell check before getting a tattoo.”
“Olivia pls change the lyrics officially or sumn to make me feel better,” she added in her caption.
Fortunately, Rodrigo came to the rescue. “HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH THIS IS THE NEW VERSE,” he joked in the comments. “I'M CHANGING IT TO BUTTERWINGS.”
The “Vampire” singer herself doesn't seem to have much tattooing experience as far as fans know, though she did once get the same ink as her best friend Iris Apatow on a girls' night out with Charli D'Amelio and Avani Greg. The couple didn't go for anything major, opting for tiny, minimalist hearts on their fingers.
Rodrigo is currently in the middle of the European leg of her ongoing Guts world tour, which kicked off in Palm Springs in February. On Wednesday (May 8), he announced nine new shows in Asia and Australia, writing on social media, “so many people for everyone who comes 2 jump and sing and scream!!! Asia and Australia dates just announced!!! I hope to see you there!!!”
