What is your story? And how did it reach the top of the Billboard charts? Here's what Billboard explains: Olivia Rodrigo's journey to the top. Born in Murrieta, California, Olivia Rodrigo began taking singing, acting, and piano lessons as a child. He grew up listening to his parents' favorite alternative rock bands, such as No Doubt, Pearl Jam, The White Stripes and Green Day. Olivia's love for songwriting began young, after being inspired by country music. He picked up the guitar when he was 12 years old. She made her acting debut in the direct-to-video film 'An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success'. Olivia moved to Los Angeles in 2015 after landing an acting role on Disney Channel's 'Bizaardvark' in 2016, playing the character Paige Olvera, for three seasons. In February 2019, she was cast in the lead role of Nini Salazar-Roberts in the Disney+ series 'High School Musical: The Musical: The Series'. Thanks to the show, he made his Billboard chart debut with “Wondering” with Julia Lester. It debuted at No. 10 on the Children's Digital Song Sales chart in November 2019. Olivia also scored her first Billboard Hot 100 hit with “All I Want” from the Disney+ series, peaking at No. 90 on the chart in January. of 2020.
