This week, our New Latin Music roundup — a collection of the best new Latin songs, albums and videos recommended by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — backed by new music from Omar Courtz, DannyLux, GALE and Kali Uchis' long-awaited mostly all-Spanish album Orchids.
Omar Courtz teams up with hitmaker Haze for “UNA NOTi,” a mid-tempo reggaeton track laced with catchy synth beats, released via Mr. 305 Records. The song tells the story of having chemistry with someone and wanting to hang out with them at all times. “UNA NOTi” is inspired by jangueos and Chinchorros of Puerto Rico and those nights when you go out with your partner to dance and feel the night away,” Courtz said in a statement. “You show the intimacy you can have with someone who makes you feel high just by their presence.”
Meanwhile, Uchis delivers her 14-track venture Orchidsin which he “mixes soulful melodies, reflecting the delicate, exotic and graceful nature of the orchid itself,” he writes Billboard EspañolIsabella Raigoza. This marks the Colombian American's second Spanish-language album and her fourth LP overall. In Orchids, Uchis covers a spectrum of styles such as Afrobeats, bolero, synth-pop and reggaeton. The set also features stellar collaborations with Peso Pluma, Karol G and Rauw Alejandro.
