More murders in the building are around the corner. The popular Hulu series, Only murders in the buildingwill return for season four on August 27.
In the upcoming season, Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short) and Mabel (Selena Gomez) deal with the aftermath of the shocking events surrounding Charles and friend Sazz Pataki's stunt at the end of season three. “Wondering whether Sazz or Charles was the intended victim, our trio's investigation leads them to Los Angeles, where a Hollywood studio is preparing a film for the Only Murders podcast,” reads the season four description. “As our amateur sleuths return to New York, they embark on an even more epic journey – traversing their building's courtyard to delve into the twisted lives of the residents of Arconia's West Tower.”
According Variety, Only Murders is Hulu's most-watched original sitcom to date, with its third season having the most-watched premiere day of any Hulu original script so far this year. Earlier this year, at the 2024 Primetime Emmy Awards, Only Murders was nominated for Best Comedy Series, which ended up on FX The bearand Short was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, but Jeremy Allen White took the award.
