Sam Heughan knows all about grand gestures. The star of the time-traveling romantic epic Foreign posted a video on Wednesday (June 5) in which he revealed that he and much of the cast of the costume drama plan to attend Taylor Swift's shows this weekend at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh, Scotland.
“We're going to see Taylor Swift play in Scotland and I think most of the cast will be going,” Heughan, 44, said while dressed in everything. Foreign costume as “Ready For It?” played in the background and issued a funny warning about his irresistible charm. “Obviously he doesn't know this, but when he comes to Scotland and sees me in public, he'll forget everything… [Travis Kelce] and fall in love with a man in a ginger wig.'
Smiling, Hughanne teased, “How could she resist? You know, it'll shake him up [Kelce] away from. and take me out instead. I'm so excited.” The star then threw in some heart hands in the post, which he captioned with the Outlander reference “JAMMF is Swiftie,” a nod to his love interest's full name: James Alexander Malcolm Mackenzie Fraser.
While Heughan's post was a lot of fun, three-time Super Bowl champion Kelce seems unfazed, as evidenced by a teaser for a Good morning America interview to be shown on Thursday morning (June 6). “I'm living the dream, baby,” the Kansas City Chiefs told the show's Will Reeve when asked how he was doing.
Swift will play the first of three shows in Edinburgh on Friday (June 7), followed by shows on Saturday and Sunday with Paramore opening.
