Paloma Faith has opened up about the dating disasters she has endured while looking for love via apps.
Reports have previously suggested the singer has been swiping via celebrity-filled dating app Raya, but she has confirmed she’s given up looking for love online after being quietly rejected by some users.
She told the Dirty Mother Pukka podcast, “I have been on them all and deleted them as I feel so disheartened.
“I feel a lot of people on there aren’t looking for relationships. They are just looking for an easy way to completely ruin the sex industry and get it for free.”
The Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer discovered that she was attracting the wrong kind of men, and even revealed she has been ignored in the past after matching with other users.
She said, “I think everyone I like is going to want to meet me and it isn’t always for the right reason. The other thing I’ve found is being ghosted. I’m like, ‘We already know I’m just way out of your league and you’re ghosting me! What’s going on?’.”
Paloma has been married in the past, tying-the-knot with New Zealander chef Rian Haynes in 2005 before divorcing in 2009.
She later had a 10-year romance with artist Leyman Lahcine with whom she welcomed two children before they split in 2022.
The couple’s daughters are aged five and two-years-old, but the singer and her ex have chosen not to share the names of their children in public.
