This year's Baja Beach Fest in Rosarito, Mexico will be headlined by Peso Pluma, Kali Uchis, Fuerza Regida and Rauw Alejandro. Uchis will be the first woman to headline the annual event.
The festival will also feature Becky G, Xavi, Sech, Mora, Jhayco, Latin Mafia, Yandel, Chencho Corleone, Jowell Y Randy, De La Ghetto, Alvaro Diaz and Omar Courtz and Snow Tha Product among the roster. The festival, which is now in its sixth year since its inception in 2018, will run from August 9-11.
Pluma had a monster year in 2023. Eslabón Armado's track “Ella Baila Sola” became the first local Mexican song to reach the Top 10 Advertising sign's Hot 100, while a collaboration with Argentinian producer Bizarrap for 'Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. The 55″ helped propel the hit to Number One on Spotify's global charts. And his debut studio LP Genesis from above Billboard Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts after its release last June.
Uchis released her fourth studio album and her second Spanish-language record Orchids in January, with songs like “Labios Mordidos” with Karol G and “Igual Que Un Ángel” with Pluma. As for Fuerza Regida, the Mexicana music group performed a sold-out show at Los Angeles' BMO Stadium in July, breaking the record for the highest attendance for a Latin act at the venue. The band is also scheduled to headline the first festival La Onda, alongside Maná, Alejandro Fernandez and Junior H in Napa Valley on June 1st and 2nd.
Rauw Alejandro will join Pluma, Iván Cornejo and Maluma over Memorial Day weekend for the two-day Sueños Music festival in Chicago this year. The Puerto Rican reggaeton star's LP Saturn was nominated for Best Urban Music album at last year's Latin Grammys.
