A few days ago, Jaguar Wright gave right-wing conspiracy theorists a lot to work with on social media. The controversial singer appeared in the conservative media, dear Piers Morgan's Uncensored point to and lash out at the likes of P. Diddy, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, accusing them of being in the same league of sadistic abusers in the music industry.
With many on social media already accusing Jay-Z of such acts following P. Diddy's arrest, they saw Wright's comments as validation of their beliefs and immediately took to X (formerly Twitter) to brag about the department and to call for the further downfall of Hova and company. While Wright has been implying that Jay-Z has been “worse” than Diddy for some time now, giving her such a platform to continue spewing her slander, she caught the attention of Jay-Z's legal team, who immediately notified Piers Morgan that he did *Specific now.
On Tuesday (October 8), Morgan went on his show and publicly apologized for Jaguar Wright's comments on his show and let everyone know that Jay-Z's lawyers told him to do so. Taking to his show, Morgan explained that no matter who or what, people like Jaguar Wright have built a following “with or without a show like mine” and acknowledged that he made some “serious claims about Jay-Z and Beyoncé.” .
That's when Morgan stated that attorneys for Jay-Z and Beyoncé “contacted us to say that these allegations were completely false and have no basis in fact, and therefore we are complying with the legal request to remove them from the initial interview”.
Although Morgan said that cutting segments from his show is not something they do, he acknowledged that “There are legal limits on us as well, and we apologize to Jay-Z and Beyoncé.”
Yep, conspiracy theorists who hate Jay-Z will have a field day with this one. Morgan himself created it in a way that seemed reluctant to comply with the legal request, but had no choice, so you all already know how this will play out on social media.
