It turns out he begs Porter Robinson to come back to his Worlds-The sound of the era works after all, it only took a decade.
In honor of the 10th anniversary of Robinson's breakthrough album, he has unearthed and released a song that failed to chart in 2014. Weeks after the release of his third album SMILE! 😀Robinson shared a tweet from 2020 revealing that he attempted to include an additional interlude in Worldsbut failed to submit the song in time. Now he's unveiled “Hollowheart,” a new collaboration with Amy Millan, who also appears on the album's opening track, “Divinity.”
“Hollowheart” starts off slowly with soft, organic production layered over Millan’s vocals, which are distorted in a way that sounds like they’re coming from an old video game console. After some dramatic piano hits, angelic strings appear without the retro distortion of the rest of the track, making them sound crystal clear and pure.

Since the song was expected to be included on the set list more than a decade ago, Robinson told a fan that he can't remember where he initially placed it on the list. Worlds track listing, but if I had to fix it today, it would be located between “Fresh Static Snow” and “Polygon Dust.”
Unfortunately, I don't remember, but today I would put it after Fresh Static Snow. https://t.co/5URjHPFD1i
