Rauw Alejandro, in the midst of touring and releasing new music, has assembled a new core management and business team, Advertising sign has learned.
Leadership includes his longtime attorney and business manager Jose Juan Torres and his longtime personal manager Matias Solaris.
Additionally, sources confirm that Alejandro has brought in Jorge “Pepo” Ferradas, founder and CEO of FPM Entertainment, to lead his overall career strategy moving forward.
Rauw Alejandro was formerly managed by Eric Duarswho signed him in 2017 and with whom he split last year.
“It's a different vision, a different perspective,” Rauw Alejandro said Advertising sign last week for his new group during the Governors Ball music festival, where he was performing. “What we've done together has been great,” he said of working with Duars, adding: “I've got a great team at the moment. I am 31 years old, adult male. I feel very happy at this moment in my life. I feel in control of my whole career. I know what I want to do. I have my notes. I found out. It's just part of growing up.”
Ferradas is Camilo and his wife Evaluna, and he also co-manages Rels B with me Fede Lauria by Dale Play. Prior to the launch of FPM, Ferradas' management experience includes managing Colombian star Shakira in all Spanish-speaking markets as well as overseeing its deal with Live Nation. Ferradas later helped found and grow GTS, Universal's touring and management company, and was president of music at Univision.
In the crowded world of reggaetón acts that emerged in the mid-to-late 2010s, Rauw Alejandro (born Raul Alejandro Ocasio Ruiz) stands out as an artist who also creates dazzling choreography and experiments with genres such as dance. This mix continued to yield hits. to date, Alejandro has placed 53 songs on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart, including 11 top 10s, including “Santa,” featuring Rvssian & Ayra Starr, which peaked at No. 8 in May. Thanks to his combined touring, streaming and sales numbers, Alejandro closed out 2023 at No. 6 on Billboard's year-end Top Latin Artists chart.
Alejandro is currently signed to Sony Music US Latin.
