Ray J claims that some celebrities pay off those who have been victimized Didi so as not to reveal their names.
As Didi sits in a New York jail awaiting his criminal trial, more speculation has grown surrounding his alleged sexual assault. And according to Ray J, prominent figures are reportedly paying Diddy's victims to keep their names clear. The reality star and R&B artist claimed he was “hearing all about it [people] paying the victims to keep their name out of” the case on Wednesday (November 13) during an interview with of TMZ documentary, The Downfall of Diddy: Inside the Freak-Off. The documentary is now streaming on the TUBI streaming platform.
“People catch and kill all day,” Ray J said as Harvey Levin interviewed him. “Someone has the truth, someone is paying you to keep it quiet, and hopefully the money you've been paid will ensure your happiness while you watch the lie continue to succeed.” He described it as A-listers going up to these people and saying, “I'm going to give you money. Please don't talk.”
When Levin asked if these scenarios were happening right now, Ray J confirmed it. “They want to talk to me about what happened to them. They call me. They feel they can trust me. They want to tell me about certain things that happened with them and Diddy,” he said. The 43-year-old would then express some hesitation about sharing that information. “I don't even know why I said it, but I did,” he added. “So? They're going to go crazy. Come get me.”
Ray J's claims come as the embattled mogul is being held at the Brooklyn Detention Center after pleading not guilty to federal racketeering, sex trafficking and prostitution charges. Tony Buzbee, a Texas attorney representing a number of alleged victims of Diddy, aka Sean Combs, also filed a claim for TMZ in October that he sent a letter to several A-list celebrities to speak with them.
