The DOJ accused the concert giant of acting as a monopoly in a new lawsuit filed Thursday
The Justice Department rocked the live music world Thursday with an explosive antitrust lawsuit it filed against concert and ticketing giant Live Nation Entertainment, the culmination of a years-long investigation that the regulatory group launched in 2022. In a lengthy complaint, the Justice Department accused Live Nation of exercising monopoly power through its exclusive ticketing agreements, promotional activities and ownership of many of the most popular theaters across the country, among other claims.
