Lana Del Rey's microphone went out during her Saturday performance at Reading & Leeds 2024 festival, unexpectedly curtailing her set last night (August 24).

That's when her sound went dead — before she finished the show. Del Rey spent the last five minutes of her set watching the fireworks.
Fan reports on social media reports that the untimely end came at the start of 'Hope Is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman Like Me to Have – But I Have It', the final track from her 2019 album Norman F-ing Rockwell.
The UK festival released a brief statement via an Instagram story on Sunday to address the tech issue from the night before.
“Due to an error by the Reading production team, we accidentally cut Lana Del Rey's incredible set by 5 minutes, we sincerely apologize to Lana and her fans,” the statement read.
Del Rey performed at the Leeds part of fest at Bramham Park on Sunday night.
The festival appearance marks the end of the singer's 2023 support tour Did you know there is a tunnel under Ocean Blvd.
