Boryan artist he had once signed Mike MylosDream Chasers record label, is now the talk of the town after an alleged reference track was leaked. Vori is heard rapping lyrics from DrakeThe track “Mob Ties” from the Canadian superstar Scorpio album and X has a lot on his mind.
Vori, 26, is credited as a songwriter on “Mob Ties,” which was considered one of the standout tracks on Scorpion by Drake fans. A leak posted by X-user @PushaThanos__ features a clip of Vory rapping a verse from the track that looks quite similar to the final product and sparked a barrage of comments from fans and critics alike. The timing is especially notable considering the war of words the OVO Sound honcho is embroiled in with Kendrick Lamar.
As you can hear on the track, the beat, flow and lyrics are all connected, but it hasn't been confirmed if this is an official reference track or how it came about. It's no secret that Drake has employed writers on his sessions like many others before him and he's received heaps of criticism for it. That same criticism is especially strong now, considering K-Dot's battle to dominate the culture of late.
Vori caught the wrath of Meek Mill in February of this year after video leaked of the Louisville rapper threatening to kill his girlfriend, which of course adds to all the drama that has ensued over the past couple of months.
On X, formerly Twitter, reactions to Vory's “Mob Ties” leak are all over the place. We've got the best of the crop below.
