I'm so excited to have you here. We are talking about Life is a gamble, your fourth album. How do you feel about that?
Rich the Kid:
I feel extremely blessed. I'm excited, super excited.

What's your mind like, you know, as you prepare for a big fall like this?
Rich the Kid:
Constantly in the studio, I change things and keep creating until the last minute, so I'm just working on making things perfect in the moment.
Catrise J:
Talk about your album title. Are you a gambler? Do you like to gamble?
Rich the Kid:
No, I'm not a huge gambler, but over the weekend, I had a show and I messed around a bit. But no, I'm not a big gambler.
Catrise J:
What is the risk you have taken along the way that makes the album title so important?
Rich the Kid:
Going back to the beginning of my career, risking myself, investing in myself. I hand out CDs to DJs and stay out in front of the club all night. So I invested in myself. I took those two top chances to get here, so.
