Rick Ross has long prided himself on living a life of luxury. Now, he's looking to give back some of those luxury materials lying around his estate to benefit those less fortunate than himself.
Rozay will host the two-day auction featuring 800 items and presented by Julien's Auctions. will be held June 25-26 live and online and benefits the Boss Up Grant program with The Creative Collective NYC.
“I looked around one day and marveled at how blessed I am. I wanted to figure out how to be a blessing to others and share some of the most outrageous, rare luxuries with the world that I've collected over the course of my career,” Ross said in a statement, before explaining how the Pharrell Williams auction inspired him to start one of his own. “Inspired by my brother Farrell, I came up with an auction with the proceeds to help the next generation of bosses. It was the most playful and sustainable way to not only touch my fans, but tap into a community that has poured into me.”
The Boss Up Grant aims to help “entrepreneurs with grants to accelerate their ongoing impact, business initiatives and scale their operations,” according to the release.
“Even the most motivated people need to feel empowered to pursue and pursue these big ideas, and through this philanthropic endeavor with The Creative Collective, the aim is to give entrepreneurs and young athletes the push they need to to become legendary,” Ross added.
The MMG mogul will be auctioning off some valuable items, including 300 rare pairs from his vast sneaker collection, including the Air Jordan Retro 5 “University of Michigan Fab 5” PE (est. $2,000-$3,000), Air Maxes ( estimate $1,000-$2,000), DJ Khaled “Father of Asahd” Air Jordans (est. $3,000-$5,000), and Virgil Abloh Off-White (est. $500-$700).
There are also plenty of designer clothes and wacky outfits that Ross has rocked at various red carpet award shows and music videos. From silk Versace shirts ($500-$700 approx) to designer sunglasses and varsity jackets ($200-$500 approx), there's little else in the Biggest Boss' expensive wardrobe.
For art lovers, Rozay will also have some street art, contemporary and high art from the walls of his impressive mansions on the auction table. There are also various personal items, including a piano custom painted with Michael Jackson Impressive work cover ($2,000-$3,000 est.), Franky Cardona signed painting of Ross holding up bottles of Luc Belaire ($2,000-$3,000 est.), RIAA plaques, MMG memorabilia and other honors and trophies from his illustrious career.
The Push It to the Limit-Luxury & Lifestyle: A Rick Ross Auction will be hosted by Julien's Auctions in Los Angeles on June 25 and June 26 from 10 a.m. PT. Those unable to attend will still have the opportunity to participate virtually and bid on items online through the auction house's website or by calling 310-836-1818.
