Rihanna Wants This Actress To Play Her In 'Because She's Got A Nice Forehead' Biopic

We're still a long way from the production days of a Rihanna biopic, but it's never a bad idea to plan ahead.

MI! News caught up with Ri while on the red carpet at the Fenty Hair launch event on Monday (June 10) and asked the beauty mogul who she'd like to see take on the role of Bad Gal RiRi.

“Taylor Russell,” she said approvingly of the 29-year-old Canadian actress before pointing out a particular physical feature. “You know why? Because he has a nice forehead.”

Rihanna continued: “It's like flying. And I feel like I want to be her, so I want her to pretend to be me. I want people to see me in that light.”

Russell she has yet to publicly react to Rihanna crowning her with the prestigious honor. The actress is best known for starring in A24's Wavy as Bones and All.

Fans were worried a biopic could arrive sooner rather than later after Rihanna was spotted rocking an “I'm Retired” shirt, but the nine-time Grammy winner put the Navy at ease when she explained Furthermore that it was just a fashion statement.

“That was just looking to the future. I'm not retired. I just love this dress. I got it as a gift and I loved it,” he said. “They didn't read the second line, I'm not retired, I just retired from dressing — it's a lot of effort.”

There was even an album update. Rihanna explained that she is starting over and is ready to get back into the studio and finally start recording for R9. “Yeah, I'm starting over,” RiRi said album-explains-im-retired-shirt-exclusive-227123″ target=”_blank”>Entertainment tonight. “But I don't want to neglect the songs that I have, so I really want to go back and listen to things with new ears, with my new perspective, and then see what works and what I'm still in love with.”
