Rihanna Wore These $1,100 Bottega Veneta Socks And They're Almost Sold Out

Rihanna's fans did a double take when she stepped out in New York over the weekend. The mother-of-two was seen wearing what appeared to be socks on her feet, but they're not socks, they're designer boots from Bottega Veneta and they're currently flying off the shelves, probably because of the power of Rihanna.

As of Thursday (May 23), the $1,100 Domenica boot is nearly sold out on the Bottega Veneta website. The Domenica boot, introduced last year, is described as a knitted cotton boot with a 'sock effect'.

The brand recommends keeping the shoes out of direct light and stuffing them with paper to keep the shape.

Also, if the boots get wet, you should dry them immediately. You can clean them with a soft, dry cloth or brush, per Bottega Venetta.

Rihanna paired the sock shoe with one Awake NY jacket, jogging pants and baseball cap. Her $225 nylon pullover features white and blue detailing and a crown logo on the front.

And it's not just her fashion (and new blonde locks) that's been making headlines. The Grammy winner has been racking up frequent flyer miles lately. Last week, Rihanna traveled to China for a Fenty Beauty pop-up event in Shanghai. Last month, she traveled to London to promote her new Puma Creeper collection and in March, Rihanna flew to Junagadh, India where she appeared at the wedding of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani, son of billionaire businessman Mukesh Ambani. The performance marked her first full concert in eight years.
