“APT” by Rosé & Bruno Mars. remains at No. 1 for a second week on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, making chart history as the only song from a western to spend multiple weeks at the top of the Japanese song chart.
On the chart dated November 27, the pop-punk duo sees an increase in downloads, streaming, radio and video views, with radio up 2.3x from the previous week, perhaps due to buzz around the 2024 MAMA Awards . The track rules streaming and radio this week, also sitting at No. 2 for video and at no. 6 for downloads.
Creepy Nuts' “Otonoke” follows at No. 2. While the points for the Dandandan Opener is down overall, karaoke is up to 125% week over week. The hip-hop hit stayed in the top 5 for 7 consecutive weeks.
timeselesz's “because” debuts at no. 3. This is the title track of the group's first single under that name and also their last as a trio. The group's 27th single sold 277,505 copies to dominate physical sales, and also reached No. 18 for the radio.
“Lilac” by Mrs. GREEN APPLE moves with 5-4. Streaming for Oblivion battery Opener has gained 104%, radio 201% and video 106% compared to last week.
Kenshi Yonezu's “Azalea” bows at No. 5 this week. The theme song for the Netflix series Beyond goodbye was released digitally on November 18 and first appeared at No. 1 for downloads, no. 14 for streaming, No. 5 for radio and no. 13 for video.
This week's chart is the last for 2024. the new chart year starts next week. Year-end charts for 2024 will be released on December 6th at 4:00 AM. Japan time.
