Sabrina Carpenter Debuts 'A Nonsense Christmas' Trailer at LA Show Finale

Sabrina Carpenter revealed its trailer Christmas Nonsense with Sabrina Carpenter on Netflix during her final night Short n' Sweet US tour in Los Angeles on Monday night.

“Christmas is coming early this year,” the pop star says at the start of the teaser. “I wouldn't count on a silent night.”

Netflix previously announced plans for the special in September. The musical extravaganza will feature a star-studded guest list including Chappell Roan, Tyla, Shania Twain, Kali Uchis, Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Nico Hiraga, Megan Stalter, Sean Astin, Owen Thiele and Jillian Bell.

“It's a silly holiday and we're so here for it,” reads the logline, a tribute to Carpenter's famous song, “Nonsense.”

“In this special with musical guests, pop icon Sabrina Carpenter will perform songs from her Holiday Fruit Pie EP and other iconic chart-topping holiday covers,” the release continues. “This special will also feature spectacular musical performances, comedic guests, unexpected duets, as well as many other surprises and fun cameos.”

Nonsense Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter premieres on Netflix December 6 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET. The series is produced by OBB Pictures and At Last Productions and directed by Sam Wrench. Nikki Boella is the showrunner.

Carpenter reaches new heights on the Billboard charts. Her latest album, Short N' Sweetdebuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 362,000 equivalent album units in its first week, marking her first album to top the charts. The album's success extended to the Hot 100, where all 12 tracks charted, including the No. 2 breakout singles “Taste,” “Please Please Please,” and “Espresso.”

It's worth noting that Carpenter joins the ranks of Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande with three songs in the top five at the same time. Across the Atlantic, she made UK chart history as the female solo artist with the most combined weeks at No.1 in a calendar year.
