Sabrina Carpenter’s new album, Short n’ Sweet, has officially arrived, and to welcome it to the world, she went to the “perfect” place: The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Appearing on the show as a guest and musical performer — plus joining Fallon for the latest installment of his sketch, Ew! – Carpenter explained that “there’s no place [she’d] rather be” on her release night than on The Tonight Show. “When they told me that I was going to be here, I was like, ‘Absolutely perfect.’”

Elsewhere, she shared new details about the music video for “Taste,” revealing that its co-star is Jenna Ortega. The video is set to premiere on Friday morning.
As for Carpenter’s appearance in Ew!, she and Zoë Kravitz joined Fallon donned the sketch’s signature pre-teen girl attire. At one point, Fallon’s character suggested the three girls try to remember the dance they learned at camp, prompting a dance break to “Espresso.”
