Do you remember Saigon? Well, he's not biting his tongue in regards to embattled Bad Boy CEO Diddy
It has been detected HipHopDXSaigon jumped on X, formerly Twitter, to accuse Diddy of ruining Hip-Hop and being responsible for the genre's tendency to be all about the money.
In his post, the rapper/actor wrote, “This nigga Puffy made the Hip-Hop culture worship nothing but $$$… So I'm kinda glad they got his a** out of here.”
He continued, “Go check out the Hip-Hop music content before 'All About The Benjamins…Creativity Mattered.'
Damn, tell us how you really feel.
This is not the first time Saigon has had something to say about Didi. Shortly after Diddy was hit with rape and sexual assault allegations, the “Pain in My Life” rapper addressed the matter, writing to X:
“Oh my gosh…. Who thinks Diddy did it???? I told myself years ago, if fame and money come with all that kind of hipness, they can KEEP it.”
“I walked away from all this bullshit to raise my babies and I don't regret ONE second of it.”
Saigon has no love for Didi
Saigon also called out the mogul for pushing alcohol into his music. Diddy is no longer dealing with Diageo after the two companies settled their dispute, which led to a split with Ciroc and DeLeon Tequila.
“No one cares about your music career, so now you're pushing vodka… Ciroc Boys. Every popular rapper you go, hold, need your marketing? We'll pay for your marketing if you just promote this vodka.'
“Poison, shit that kills us and n-ggas do it that's why Rick Ross is big. That's why every video of Rick Ross you see, before he even comes on you see a bottle of Ciroc go by the screen.”
We wonder if he feels the same way about all the other rappers whose names are associated with alcohol brands.
