Sault, the elusive British collective, have released a surprise new album. Titled Acts of faiththeir 11th LP is out now via Forever Living Originals and is available for free download as a .wav file via a WeTransfer link that the team shared online. It is a 32 minute track produced by Inflo.
Last December, Sault played their first gig at London's Drumsheds. The event doubled as an interactive installation in which attendees walked through a series of decorated rooms and Acts of faith reportedly previewed on that show. Sault also suggested that more tour dates in New York, London, Los Angeles, Canada, Germany, Paris and Africa would follow, but these shows were never announced.
In 2022, Sault uploaded five new albums to a password-protected folder: Aiir, 11, Earth, Today & Tomorrow, and (Untitled) God. The band continued to explore the R&B, funk and experimental sounds of their breakthrough records Untitled (Black Is) and Untitled (Rise)as well as 2021 Nine, with these albums.
Technically, Sault has never publicly shared an official band line-up, but the band is believed to be centered on Inflo, a producer who has previously worked with Adele, Little Simz and Michael Kiwanuka.
