I feel like that energy is vibrating throughout this room as we've had the opportunity to hear from these women who consistently bring their game in such beautiful ways as Tems, the winner of the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Breakthrough Award.
In just a few years since releasing her first EP “For Broken Ears”, this Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer has captured the attention of fans around the world. She earned her first Grammy with the Billboard Hot 100 number one hit “Wait For U.” Personal favorite. Her collaboration with Future & Drake. She was nominated for a Golden Globe, Oscar and Grammy for co-writing Rihanna's “Lift Me Up” for the 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' soundtrack. But beyond the awards and collaborations with everyone from Justin Bieber to Beyoncé, everything comes back to that voice, rich, resigned, undeniable. Combine that with her confidence, style and effortless flow from her and you have someone who will be here for a long time.
