Queer pop icons Scissor Sisters have announced a 2025 reunion tour scheduled to hit the UK and Ireland. The shows will be their first since going on hiatus in 2012 and will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut album, which hit No.1 in the UK upon release.
After making a comeback by displaying their iconic logo in arenas across the UK over the past few days, the band have shared their full line-up of dates to appear next year. The tour will kick off on May 16th with a show in Nottingham and continue to Glasgow, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Manchester, London, Leeds, Birmingham, Belfast before finishing in Dublin on May 28th. The group – consisting of Jake Shears (vocals), Babydaddy (bass) and Del Marquis (guitar) – also confirmed that former bandmate Ana Matronic will not be part of the reunion. A statement accompanying the announcement said the Matronic singer “decided not to participate in the tour as she has other projects she is currently focusing on.”
“We've spent a lot of time collectively thinking about what we can add to our show that isn't a 'replacement' for Ana in any way,” adds Marquis. “It's part of the spirit of this band and we want to honor that.”
The group plans to debut in 2004 Scissor Sisters in full along with a selection of tracks from their three other 2006 studio efforts Ta-Dadecade of 2010 Night work and of 2012 Magic Hour. Scissor Sisters it was the biggest selling album in the UK in 2004 and has amassed more than three million in sales worldwide.

If there's one thing that can be said about our band, it's that it's unlike any other band. We didn't make sense anywhere else, and it's like we clicked here.”
