We may not know exactly where Sean “Diddy” Combs it's after the feds raided his homes on both coasts, but his lawyers are talking about him. In a statement, the Bad Boy Record founder's attorney likened the Homeland Security raids on his clients' homes to a “witch hunt.”
On Monday, March 25, Diddy's homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by armed federal officers in a coordinated effort between the Department of Homeland Security and the US Attorney's office for the Southern District of New York. The latter is reportedly investigating Diddy for sex trafficking linked to at least several lawsuits accusing the mogul of multiple incidents of sexual assault.
But in a statement to the media, Didi's lawyers say the feds' actions were “unbecoming.”
His lawyer Aaron Dyer said: “This unprecedented ambush – combined with an advanced, coordinated media presence – leads to a premature rush to judgment for Mr Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on unjust accusations made in civil actions'.
He added, “No criminal or civil liability has been established with any of these allegations. Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every day to clear his name.”
Despite rumors that Didi had left the country, is reportedly still in America. Although a private jet allegedly owned by Combs landed in Antigua after his homes were raided, Diddy was not on board.
