It is impossible to know for sure whether Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco I would never have met a decade ago, but the pop star has some thoughts on the matter.
Responding to a recent TikTok fan who claimed she would “never date Benny Blanco” back in her “IT GIRL days” in the 2010s, Gomez simply wrote: “Makes me laugh because I was so depressed back then lol” .
The video also featured slow-motion papparazzi footage of a younger Sel walking through the camera flashes, looking stunning in an elegant black dress. “I know as well as you that at that moment she would never have been engaged to Benny, it was the IT GIRL era,” the fan wrote in the clip, which happened to be paired with ex Justin Bieber's 2015 hit. .”
Regardless of the past, 2024 finds the founder of Rare Beauty happily in love with the producer. She recently celebrated her 32nd birthday with her boyfriend by her side, calling him the “love of my life” in an Instagram Stories post. Later, she posted a carousel of cute photos of the couple chatted with Blanco and wrote: “Thank you for sharing your life with me today and everyday 🙂”
Gomez has put more than one person on TikTok in recent days. She also recently commented on a post that sparked speculation about whether she had ever had plastic surgery or other cosmetic surgery on her face, writing: “I honestly hate this.”
“I was on edge because [a] flare up,” he added at the time. “I have botox. This is. Leave me alone.”
