Selena Gomez posted a sweet tribute to boyfriend Benny Blanco on Friday morning (March 8) in honor of the producer's 36th birthday. “Happy birthday baby! Your emotional resilience, positive attitude, incredible talent (which cracks me up), undeniable humor and loving, kind heart absolutely kills me,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I love you,” she added along with the birthday cake and crying emoji. Blanco responded with a series of emojis, including kisses, hearts and a matching pair with good eyes. Gomez's post also included a carousel of photos of the happy couple cuddling, caressing, kissing, tongue touching and twirling during the teacup ride.
The beloved greeting came two weeks after the 31-year-old singer and Only murders in the building Her co-star celebrated the release of her new single, “Love On,” by talking about the impact Blanco had on her heart. “Without going into too much detail, I think it's really important to meet someone who respects you,” she told Apple Music's Zane Lowe of her romance, without naming Blanco specifically. “And I think it's really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world I live in.”
Gomez added, “I'd have to say overall, it's the safest I feel and it's been really great. I've only grown through it, so it's awesome.”
The couple have been openly celebrating their romance on social media since going public for the first time in December, when Gomez confirmed that she and the famous producer (Britney Spears, Maroon 5, BTS) had been dating for six months. Since then they've been spotted cuddling up at a Lakers game, watching the Emmys in January and celebrating Valentine's Day together.
