Shark Beauty Debuts Foldable Hair Dryer: Buy the SpeedStyle Pro Flex Here

If your hair has had enough of the summer heat and unbearable humidity, help is on the way — but we're not talking about colder temperatures (not yet, anyway).

Shark Beauty has introduced a new blow dryer that's portable enough to travel with and powerful enough to cut down on drying time. The SpeedStyle Pro The Flex is a folding blow dryer packed with “high-velocity airflow for quick and easy drying,” according to a press release.

In addition to a retractable handle and plenty of power, the hair dryer $300 it's equipped with Heat IQ technology that protects your scalp from heat damage by measuring and adjusting temperatures 1,000 times a second and never exceeding 230 degrees Fahrenheit, according to the product description.

The SpeedStyle Pro Flex measures 6.58 x 1.89 inches and is 9.76 inches tall. It weighs just over half a pound and the airflow adjusts from 0 to 100 mph in less than a second.

In addition to SpeedStyle Pro Flex, Shark Beauty made its debut SpeedStyle Pro ($199)a smart hair dryer equipped with Heat IQ technology and several styling accessories and available in matte black.

Both blow dryers feature a Scalp Shield Mode button that instantly reduces heat and styling accessories such as the Frizz Fighting Finishing Tool and Quicksmooth Brush. If you're already familiar with the Shark SpeedStyle (one of my personal favorite blow dryers under $200), the SpeedStyle Pro and Pro Flex offer an upgrade to a great blow dryer that helps you achieve salon-worthy bubbles at home — too good choice for hair school students.
