Sheryl Crow joined Olivia Rodrigo to perform “If It Makes You Happy” during the Nashville stop of Rodrigo’s “GUTS World Tour” on Saturday night.
Rodrigo has described “If It Makes You Happy” as “one of my favorite songs of all time.” The two previously performed it together during an intimate performance at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe in September 2023, and again in November to celebrate Crow's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

In 2022, Crow presented Rodrigo with the Woman of the Year award at the Billboard Women in Music Awards. “I'm happy to celebrate her,” Crow said of Rodrigo in an interview prior to the ceremony. “I think she will be here for a long time. She deserves to be where she celebrates this moment.” Meanwhile, Rodrigo praised Crow in her acceptance speech. “Sheryl, I'm a big fan of you and your songwriting and I'm so grateful you're here,” she said. “It really means a lot.”
Crow is the first surprise guest on Rodrigo’s “GUTS World Tour,” which officially kicked off last month and runs through August 2024. You can purchase tickets here.
