Shyne had nothing good to say about his former boss, Sean “Diddy” Combs, following his arrest.
Former Bad Boy artist and current opposition leader in Belize, Moses “Shyne” Barrow, born Jamal Barrow, has broken his silence on Diddy after law enforcement took him into federal custody.
During a press conference, Barrow was asked about Diddler's arrest and didn't mince words about the disgraced tycoon. Barrow spoke about his arrest following the infamous 1999 nightclub incident in which he attended a party with Diddy and his then-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez.
A scuffle ensued, shots were fired and three people were injured. According to multiple accounts, Diddy was the one who pulled the trigger, but Shyne was blamed. Shyne was found guilty and served nine years in prison.
Per Digital Music News:
One of the things I would never wish on my worst enemy is to be imprisoned or sick, bedridden. So I'm not happy about anyone's challenges, whether with the criminal justice system or otherwise.
But I would just like to clarify, you have to be honest in describing the relationship. This is someone who basically testified against me when I was on trial, when I was an 18-year-old kid who just wanted to do nothing but make my mother proud and make Belize proud and do what we all want to do be recognized for our talent and conquer the world.
This is not someone I vacationed with, this is someone who ruined my life, who I forgave, and who I moved on, and in the best interest of Belize because he was in a position at the time to give scholarships and maybe invest, would not deny the effort to bring the investment to Belize and bring the contributions to education.
