Simone Biles has a lot to celebrate in Paris this summer, but the record-breaking gymnast also made sure to carve out some time to celebrate her father's birthday this week — with a little help from Snoop Dogg.
The decorated Olympian shared on Instagram that her father, Ronald, would be celebrating her 75th birthday on August 8, complete with bedazzled sunglasses and champagne. Her dad's birthday was made even more special by a new Death Row Records chain gifted to him by 2024 Olympics commentator Snoop Dogg.
His sister, Adria Biles, posted a photo on her Instagram Story of a carefree Ronald Biles proudly showing off his new jewelry. “Snoop gave him a chain and now he doesn’t know how to act,” she wrote with a laughing emoji. See the photo below.
Snoop Dogg has been everywhere in Paris, appearing as a torchbearer during the opening ceremonies, swimming with Michael Phelps and gearing up for the closing ceremony, where he will perform. In addition to Snoop, Billie Eilish, Phoenix, Air and Red Hot Chili Peppers will play at the event, which will stretch from Paris to Los Angeles, home of the 2028 Olympics.
Upon her return to the United States, Simone Biles will participate in the “Gold Over America” tour, a gymnastics event taking place in 30 stadiums across the United States this fall.
