Snoop Dogg is a man of many talents — and that's an understatement. The rap icon can do it all, and he completed yet another side mission this week when he took over for Al Roker on TODAY to deliver the weather.
And this wasn't your average weather report, as Snoop covered cities across America that had names that could be synonymous with smoking – which the Doggfather is naturally familiar with.
“It's 57 degrees in Mary Jane Falls, Nevada,” Snoop said in shock. “But my favorite is when it's nice, hot, foggy outside, 84 degrees in Blunt, South Dakota. Sliding down into this area right here above the average high of 70 degrees in Roach, Missouri.”
Snoop took a roll and dropped the weather report like a pro. “We're lucky in Kentucky,” he continued. “It's going to be 60 as we blaze through Blaze, Kentucky… Low on the move, 61 degrees at High Point — take that High Point, North Carolina.”
Fans collectively laughed when Snoop Dogg took over TODAY as a meteorologist. “This is awesome. I love @SnoopDogg. They are my kind of people” one person wrote to X.
Another added: “I love that Snoop has made cannabis culture mainstream.”
In addition to playing weatherman, Snoop revealed TODAY that he has another genre-blending collaboration on the way — this time with country singer Zach Bryan.
“Zac sent me a song,” she shared. “I have to put a verse on him. I'm inspired, seeing that with him, with the boss, Bruce Springsteen.”
