Like anyone who's been in the game for over three decades, Snoop Dogg has amassed a lot of Doggy Dogg… stuff. But unlike many other famous people, it will very soon go under the hammer in a novel celebrity auction through sports and music auction house Realest in which Snoop is directly involved in the action.
“Make sure you get it because it's certified, signed by the one and only Snoop Doggy Dogg,” Snoop says in a promotional video previewing the auction in which he wears an old SD cop hat and a black shirt with a Doggy Dogg logo. . He then flips through the script with much commentary, admiring all the notes he made, saying, “This doesn't mean much to me, I'll never look at it because… this is my first lead role!”
“The Shiznit: The Snoop Dogg Memorabilia Auction” is live now at the company's website and features a wide variety of clothing, jewelry, awards, gold plaques, photos, gig riders, reel-to-reel tapes, scripts and one-of-a-kind items that Snoop promises are all certified authentic. The first phase ends on June 2nd, with a preview event taking place in New York today and Los Angeles on May 29th, and more items are expected to be released soon.
