The newly reunited Soul Coughing appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to offer a version of their 1996 classic, “Super Bon Bon.”
The band took to the Kimmel Stage in black suits and brought the song to life, with bassist Sebastian Steinberg playing the repetitive upright bass riff. And frontman Mike Doughty commanded the stage with a quiet confidence, singing the lyrics with a 90s-esque nonchalance that now feels like a welcome burst of nostalgia.

Soul Coughing will continue their 2024 reunion tour with shows in Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, Boston, and more cities, before concluding with a two-night run in Brooklyn on Oct. 4 and 5.
