How does it work? Artists submit their merch designs to the SoundCloud store to be designed, manufactured and sold. Each item, from clothing to exclusive vinyl to accessories and more, is made to order and shipped immediately, according to SoundCloud.
Artists also retain their merch rights and can sell it elsewhere, but within the Soundcloud store, their products remain exclusive only for the duration of the release. Additionally, fans receive notifications when merch is released via emails and in-app notifications.
