Years later, the Mexican-American businesswoman says she “focuses on keeping the brand as loyal as possible. “We prioritize showcasing a wide range of curl patterns, ethnicities and histories to reflect the true beauty and variety within our community.” Prado said that “this representation helps our community see themselves in our brand, fostering a strong sense of belonging.” In addition to Rizos Curls, Ulta Beauty highlights KITSCH in its campaign. Founder Cassandra Morales Thurswell made her sustainable dreams come true with KITSCH, a brand free of harsh chemicals, cruelty-free and that comes in 100% recyclable packaging. And since then, the Colombian-American businessman has become a major player in the world of beauty. In fact, her global hair care and accessories company has become a multi-million dollar business thanks to manufacturing products from recycled materials.
