St. Vincent (aka Annie Clark) is releasing a new album, All Born Screaming, this Friday via Virgin Music Group. Now she's shared her third single, “Big Time Nothing.” Listen below and her upcoming tour dates follow.
Previously St. Vincent shared the album's first single, “Broken Man,” via a music video. It was one of the songs of the week. She then shared her second single, “Flea,” which features Dave Grohl on drums and Justin Meldal-Johnsen on bass. “Flea” also made our song of the week list.
Clark produced the album himself, which was mixed by Cian Riordan. The album also features contributions from Cate Le Bon, Rachel Eckroth, Josh Freese, Mark Guiliana, Stella Mogzawa and David Ralicke.
Clark said somewhat cryptically about the album in an earlier press release: “There are some places, emotionally, that you can only get to by taking a long walk in the woods alone – to find out what your heart is really saying. It rings true because it is true.”
All Born Screaming 2021 follows dad's house (which had a 1970s vibe) and MASSAGE (which peaked at #3 on the 2017 Top 100 Albums list).
