Steve Aoki is back with his first single from 2024, and this time he will team up with Lil Jon for a modern reimagining of Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz's seminal 2003 classic, “Get Low.” More than 20 years later, Aoki and Lil Jon decided it was time for fans to “go lower”. This is the fourth collaboration between the superstar DJ/producer and the King of Crunk. The two first got together in 2011 on “Turbulence” and have become friends ever since.
“Jon and I have been friends for years, and every time we get together at a track, it's a party,” says Steve Aoki. “When we performed at Tomorrowland last year, the energy was off the charts and we knew we had to create another festival anthem. 'Get Low' is one of the most hyped songs of all time and it's an honor to work with Jon to bring it back for the next generation.”
“It's crazy that Steve approached me about this song, especially considering this year marks the song's 20th anniversary!” says Lil Jon. “I am grateful for our friendship over the years and there is no better way to honor this milestone with 'Get Low.'”
