Following his recent sold-out run of 11 dates across the country, Stevie Wonder will bring Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation's Broken Heart concert in Los Angeles on December 14. His upcoming appearance at the city's Crypto.com Arena will also be part of the celebration marking the legendary House Full of Toys' 25th celebratory benefit.
Wonder's most recent House Full of Toys in 2022 featured Gregory Porter, Trombone Shorty and Jody Watley. Presented through Wonder's non-profit We Are You Foundation, the benefit concert supports children, people with disabilities and families in need, and concertgoers were also asked to donate an unwrapped toy.
Borrowing its name in part from Wonder's current single, “Can we mend our nation's broken heart?” the original 11-date tour kicked off on October 8 in Pittsburgh and concluded on November 2 in Chicago. His other nine stops included New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Greensboro, NC and Grand Rapids, Mich. Before the junket started, Wonder emailed bulletin board, commenting, I've always felt that singing and expressing love around our world can make a significant difference — it always has and it always will. Honestly, I miss you. I miss the show. So I'll sing my songs, your songs. we will celebrate song and music as together we mend our nation's broken heart.”
Sing Your Song's upcoming performance in LA! As We Fix Our Nation's Broken Heart is produced by Wonder Productions and promoted by AEG Presents in association with Free Lunch. And as Wonder noted at the start of the tour's original run, “he will be offering a set number of free tickets to those in our communities who are already working tirelessly to mend the broken heart of our nation.” tickets go on sale November 22 at noon PT. visit Crypto.com Arena website for more information.
