After kicking off the North American leg of his “Sting 3.0 Tour” earlier this week in Detroit, Sting stopped by Stephen Colbert's latest show for a rocking rendition of their new song, “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart).”
First released as a single recorded by her power trio, featuring guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, “I Wrote Your Name (Upon My Heart)” is a dynamic track with a groove-filled, guitar-led arrangement. Afternoon Show On stage, the trio brought the song to life, leaning as much into its upbeat rock peaks as it did its fluid, ethereal moments.

Following the opening concert in Detroit on Tuesday, the “Sting 3.0 Tour” will continue with shows in Toronto, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago and more cities. In November, the tour will conclude with a four-night run at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Get tickets for their upcoming dates here.
