What is Stranger Things: The First Shadow?
Written by Kate Trefry and directed by Stephen Daldry, Stranger Things: The First Shadow It is a prequel story set in the Stranger Things According to its press release, the show will offer viewers a glimpse of the town of Hawkins in 1959, “before the world turned upside down.”
“Young Jim Hopper’s car won’t start, Bob Newby’s sister won’t take her radio show seriously, and Joyce Maldonado just wants to graduate and get out of town,” the press release explains. “When new student Henry Creel arrives, his family discovers that a fresh start isn’t so easy…and the shadows of the past reach far and wide.”
Beyond its history, Stranger Things: The First Shadow It is also expected to be a technical feat with “stunning special effects.” After its premiere in London’s West End last year, the show even took home Olivier Awards for Best Entertainment and Best Set Design.
