Sublime will headline the first-ever Brightside Music Festival, taking place Saturday, April 27 at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando, Florida. Other acts on the bill include 311, Goldfinger, Story of the Year, Face to Face, Save Ferris, Unwriting Law, Zebrahead and more to be announced.
The festival concert will mark one of the first performances of Sublime reunited, with original members Bud Gaugh and Eric Wilson joining singer-guitarist Jakob Nowell (son of late frontman Bradley Nowell). The band played an intimate benefit show in Los Angeles in December and is also scheduled to perform at both Coachella weekends in April.
Tickets start at $69 and will be available starting Friday (February 2) at 10 a.m. ET through the official site. Brightside Music Festival Website. A craft beer sampler can be added for $10, while VIP tickets start at $199 and include access to designated shaded areas, upgraded bathrooms, and a dedicated bar.
“This is one of those events where you just get the feeling that something special is about to happen,” said event co-producer Cameron Collins of Brew Ha Ha Productions. “The stars aligned perfectly for this festival and I am absolutely thrilled to be able to do this with Sublime, 311, Goldfinger and the entire lineup in Orlando, Florida. The energy of the crowd singing every word on this one will be electrifying!
