Suki Waterhouse has insisted she “manifested” her support slot at one of Taylor Swift’s UK shows.
The 32-year-old first made her way into the spotlight as a model but has gone on to carve out an impressive career as an actress and musician as well.
This weekend, Suki will open for Taylor during her Saturday night Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium in London, where she will perform her own music.
Opening up about the surprise support act gig, the British star told Rolling Stone, “I was dreaming, dreaming, dreaming of this happening. I was manifesting super hard. So when (I found out), I was like, yes, dreams can come true.”
Suki began her modelling career when she was 16 and started acting in 2010 – and was a cast member of Amazon Prime’s hit show Daisy Jones and the Six last year.
Her debut album, titled I Can’t Let Go, was released in 2022 and her second record, titled Memoir of a Sparklemuffin, will be unleashed in September.
Perhaps taking a leaf out of Taylor’s book, Suki’s new album promises to include details of past relationships – an area the 34-year-old Purple Haze singer frequently mines for her chart-topping hits.
Discussing one particularly eyebrow-raising track titled Lawsuit, Suki teased, “You never want to give everyone the full details of anything but… It’s about a bunch of women all connecting about the same guy that they dated and being like, ‘We’ve all got eyes on you and we’re not alone anymore.'”
