Kenya’s first single from the EP “Summer” caught the attention of many music fans amassing over 100,000 views on Youtube. The track captures the essence of the season in New York. she stated “Summertime in New York is different. Living here, I’ve had the opportunity to meet many people and go to multiple venues. New York is a city that never sleeps. Being here, it is easier to get around. Everything is open for the most part over here. Living in Philly, places are closed by midnight.”
One of the standout tracks from the EP is another version of track, “Summer,” featuring Musiq Soulchild, combines Kenya Vaun’s soulful vocals with a smooth groove.
