Summer Walker's Finally Over It The album, featuring a new single called “Heart of a Woman,” is on the way.
The new release was announced on Friday (October 11), but has yet to share an official arrival date. Finally Over It (LVRN/Interscope Records) is Walker's third studio album and the follow-up to her chart-topping 2021 set Still on top of thatwhich debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
After encouraging fans to guess the title of her next album last week, Walker finally shared the answer in an Instagram post. There she revealed herself Finally Over ItHis first single is “Heart of a Woman”.
“Look out for Heart of A Woman now!” he captioned a visual teaser for the new music. He shared one pre-save link on her Instagram bio.
In the teaser video, Walker offers a glimpse of what's to come. The Atlanta-born R&B hitmaker shows up at his house, stepping out of the shower and wearing a hot pink robe, drink in hand. He's playing voicemail left on her voicemail — and those messages indicate relationship problems. He breaks the glass he is holding.
“Dammit, do you have to do this to me?” a man is heard saying through an answering machine. “I was just helping my cousin with the groceries. Hit me back when you can talk. I know you're finally over it, but heck, let's talk about it. I love you.”
Last year Walker appeared on several singles, including Usher's “Good Good” and “Prove It” with 21 Savage, which brought her to SNL stage in February to perform the track when he was the musical guest. She dropped it too Clear 2: Soft Life EP, part two for 2019 Clear ER.
